Doug worked for Rep. Kucinich during his 2008 Presidential Campaign as his NYS Campaign Coordinator and surrogate at over 12 presidential forums.   Having volunteered in New Orleans in wake of Hurricane Katrina and walked downtown Manhattan to help two days after 9-11, like Rep. Kucinich, Doug understands what happens to our neighborhoods with bad federal policy that neglects local needs.  Case in point is his urgent call to act now to get ahead of this economic downturn by going long on jobs and short on war.
