After Doug wrote a letter to Regina Myer and the Brooklyn Bridge Development Corp. about the child safety hazards at the $54 million playround at Pier 6, the Brooklyn Heights Blog asked Doug to do a video pointing out some of the hazards.

To date and after subsequent letters, only the exposed 8" conduit stub at the base of the boulders, waiting to impale a child jumping or falling off a boulder, was repaired. Doug's opponent, Assemblywoman Joan Millman, has also remained silent on the issue.
